AAUPOC Scholarship Fund

Welcome to the University of Peradeniya Ottawa Chapter (AAUPOC) web page dedicated for the scholarship fund. As a community based non-profit organization, AAUPOC raises funds to support the students and special needs of the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Your generous support will make a significant difference in the future of the students.

What it is Used for

The AAUPOC scholarships fund primarily supports needy students in the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka by providing financial assistance to continue with their undergraduate studies. Every year we offer 10 scholarships with the approximate total value of Rs.400,000.

In addition, AAUPOC supports students under special circumstances with critical financial needs, and helps upgrade educational facilities.

Methods of Payments

Your generous contribution can be made by an e-transfer through an auto-deposit to aaupoc@yahoo.ca or by a cheque payable to "Alumni Association of University of Peradeniya - Ottawa Chapter (AAUPOC)" mailed to:

Despite being faced with many challenges due to the pandemic, AAUPOC managed to collect CAD $ 7062 from donations and sponsorships during 2020/2021. We highly appreciate with thanks the generosity of our members, well-wishers and all the sponsors who contributed to this fund that is used to provide treasured scholarships to needy students of the University of Peradeniya.
