AAUPOC is now accepting donations for both the Needy Students' Scholarship Fund and to fund the additional project to build the entrepreneurship of the university students. With our current savings, we are in a position to support 20 scholarships so far, and the target is 30 Scholarships. The AAUPOC scholarship fund primarily supports needy students in the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka by providing financial assistance to continue with their undergraduate studies.

 Hanthana Night 2024:
AAUPOC has successfully organized this year's Hanthana Night on the 9th of November, 2024 at the Ukrainian Banquet and Convention Hall, 1000 Byron Ave, Ottawa, ON K2A 0J3. This year's event featured authentic traditional Sri Lankan "Rookada" or Sri Lankan puppet for the first time in Canada. See the event photos.
 Walkathon Challenge for 2024:
AAUPOC has successfully organized the 4th annual Walkathon Challenge for 2024. This event took place from September 23 to October 2, 2024 (with online step count submission), and concluded with a 5km Health Walk with in-person participation on October 06, 2024, at Andrew Haydon Park, 3169, Carling Ave. Ottawa.  Cricket Match 2024:
AAUPOC has successfully organized the AAUPOC vs Ottawa Cricket Club (OCC) friendly hardball 40 over Cricket Match on Saturday, August 17th at Rideau Hall Grounds. This year, the OCC is celebrating its 175th anniversary. The friendly cricket match was a part of the anniversary celebration. It was a joyful celebration with the presence of invited guests.  Beach Trip 2024:
AAUPOC has successfully organized the annual beach trip on the 20th of July, 2024 at Fitzroy Provincial Park (beach), 5201 Canon Smith Dr, Fitzroy Harbour, ON, K0A 1X0. It was a fun-filled day-long event with many activities such as boating, canoeing, swimming, trail-walking, Sri Lankan music, playing cricket/volleyball, etc. See the event photos.
 Gee Padura 2024:
We are delighted to inform you that AAUPOC has successfully organized the Gee Padura 2024 on June 1st, 2024 at Fred Barrett (Arena) community center, 3280 Leitrim Road, Gloucester, ON K1T 3Z4. This year, we commemorated the legendary Sri Lankan singers Amarara Ranthunga, Dharmadasa Walpola, and Mohidin Beig. See the event photos.
