AAUPOC is now accepting donations for both the Needy Students' Scholarship Fund and to fund the additional project to build the entrepreneurship of the university students. With our current savings, we are in a position to support 20 scholarships so far, and the target is 30 Scholarships. The AAUPOC scholarship fund primarily supports needy students in the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka by providing financial assistance to continue with their undergraduate studies. How to Donate
Beach Trip 2025: AAUPOC has successfully organized the annual beach trip on the 16th of August, 2025 at Fitzroy Provincial Park (beach), 5201 Canon Smith Dr, Fitzroy Harbour, ON, K0A 1X0. This was a fun filled, day long gathering with many activities such as kayaking, canoeing, paddle boating, swimming, Sri Lankan music, volleyball, board games etc.

Cricket Match 2025: AAUPOC has successfully organized the AAUPOC vs Ottawa Cricket Club (OCC) friendly hardball 40 over Cricket Match on Sunday, July 20 at Rideau Hall Grounds (157 Mackay Street, Ottawa). All proceeds will go towards the financially needy students scholarship fund.
Gee Padura 2025: AAUPOC has successfully organized year's Gee Pedura on Saturday, May 3rd at the Fred Barrett Arena, located at 3280 Leitrim Road, Gloucester, ON K1T 3Z4. It was more than just a musical evening; it was a celebration of talent, community, and generosity, held in honor of the legendary Sri Lankan artist Clarence Wijewardena. See the event photos.

Hanthana Night 2024: AAUPOC has successfully organized this year's Hanthana Night on the 9th of November, 2024 at the Ukrainian Banquet and Convention Hall, 1000 Byron Ave, Ottawa, ON K2A 0J3. This year's event featured authentic traditional Sri Lankan "Rookada" or Sri Lankan puppet for the first time in Canada. See the event photos.
